Nicole Segers

Nicole Segers started her career at Monard Law in 2000. She started as a commercial litigation lawyer, mainly focusing on distribution and competition law. Gradually, her areas of focus broadened to the fields of company law, negotiations of mergers and acquisitions (business assets/shares). Nicole assisted many clients in their growth expansion stages (contracts or investment matters) in Belgium and abroad.

Nicole Segers became partner at Monard Law in 2007. To complete her daily practice in corporate law (litigation and transactional work) and economic law (in the broadest sense), she completed a post-graduate corporate finance programm at KU Leuven.

Nicole mainly assists entrepreneurs, in family-owned and non-family-owned businesses. She also advises different types of investors. Nicole is regarded by many clients as “the business lifecycle partner” and permanent advisor or usual counsel. In this context, her training as mediator in commercial matters supports her work when she engages in difficult dialogues and acts for clients in conflict-prevention and conflict-solution situations.
