Daphne Segers studied law at Ghent University. She obtained a Master of Laws with high distinction in June 2021. A few months later, in September 2021, she joined the team at Monard Law Ghent and was also admitted to the Ghent Bar.

Throughout her training, Daphne specialized in labour law and civil service law. She undertook an internship at the Belgian National Labor Council as part of the empirical research into psycho-social well-being at work in the public sector, which she conducted for her master’s dissertation. She also wrote a paper on the dismissal of protected employees in the context of a bankruptcy.

At Monard Law, Daphne focuses mainly on labour law, social security law, and social criminal law.
