Alexander Broux

Alexander focuses on commercial and economic law with particular interest in intellectual property law, IT-law and privacy & data protection. Within the commercial practice group, he provides assistance with, inter alia, privacy compliance, drafting of numerous kinds of commercial agreements, and commercial disputes.

During his studies, Alexander developed a particular interest in intellectual property law, privacy & data protection and new technologies. In his daily practice at Monard Law he has the opportunity to delve into these areas.

In 2023, he graduated following the defence of his dissertation in which he discussed the correlation between the GDPR and the (then) proposed Regulation with regards to Artificial Intelligence. During the summer of 2023, Alexander did an international internship at the Stellenbosch University Law Clinic, where he gained his first experience with the legal profession.

Alexander started at Monard Law during his studies and has been a member of the Limburg Bar since July 2023.
