Lawyer - Senior Associate
Lotte Leekens is a lawyer who is passionate about social law, data protection, and privacy. She advises companies on all types of issues regarding their working relationship with employees and self-employed individuals.
Lotte assists business owners and heads of human resources daily in matters concerning dismissal (individual and collective), working time, false self-employment, employment contracts and policies, collective bargaining and negotiations, sectoral provisions, etc. Moreover, Lotte has particular expertise in advising on privacy issues (GDPR) relating to staff.
In addition to drawing up and analyzing social law documents according to clients’ needs, Lotte thinks along with the company’s business and objectives. She seeks the most appropriate legal solutions each time and assists clients in implementing them.
Lotte obtained a Master of Laws from KU Leuven in 2014 and joined Monard Law immediately afterwards. She completed a specialized training in 2017 at the Data Protection Institute, and she began her training in 2021 to become a mediator at MEDIV.
