Loïc Matthys specializes in corporate law, with a particular focus on mergers & acquisitions and restructurings. He also has a special affinity for start-ups and scale-ups.
Loïc obtained a Master of Laws degree from Universiteit Gent in 2019. In 2020, Loïc obtained an advanced Master of Laws degree in “Law of Internet Technology” from the Bocconi University in Milan. He was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2020.
Loïc joined the Brussels law firm Stibbe in 2020 and joined the Monard Law team in 2022.
During his studies, Loïc was active as a student assistant at the University of Neuchâtel and did an internship at GIMV. As a student, he started a ticketing company with his sister and was president of student association Business2Students Gent.
