Lisa Opdecam obtained a Master of Laws from Ghent University in 2016.
During her master-level studies, she focused mainly on commercial law, liability law, medical law, and criminal law.
She developed greater interest in medical law when she was undergoing her traineeship and participated in additional training on this field of law at the University of Antwerp. She obtained a certificate in health law and health ethics, with distinction.
Today, Lisa focuses more and more on this particular field of law and is specialized in medical liability law, medical contracts, various types of healthcare laws and regulations, and issues relating to national social security (under the federal public body NIHDI – National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance).
