Monard Law has won the Trends Legal Awards 2018. The firm was voted best law firm in construction law and real estate by the jury and was nominated in the category best Belgian law firm.
A merit for the team real estate that, in a short period of 3 years, has succeeded in developing a strong and complementary team in construction law and real estate. This also allows Monard Law to offer a total package of services within this sector. In the past year, the firm has been able to take on a number of major projects in the real estate sector, including the Antwerp Police Tower and the construction of the municipal office in Hasselt.
CEO Karen Braeckmans: “The prize and the nomination are the result of the consistent realization of a clear vision and this through cooperation with a brilliant and diverse team. We are an enterprising, innovative and creative law firm that is aware of the changes that are taking place in the legal market and the opportunities that go along with it. Every day we go the extra mile, for our employees, for our clients and for our partners with whom we work. We want to be as accessible and human as possible. This was also strongly emphasized in the various testimonials we requested in the context of these Awards.
We follow and support our clients, entrepreneurs and partners with whom we work, whether they operate exclusively in Belgium or have international ambitions. We do not only do this by being as close to the clients as possible (national and international), but also by thinking along with their business. We are aware of developments in various sectors and can offer a wide range of expertise by a multidisciplinary team.
We also follow the entrepreneurs in their growth. Thanks to our partnership with KBC Start-it, for example, we reach a large group of starting entrepreneurs. But also when it’s time to sell the business or leave it, we offer support. Just recently, in the week of the business transfer, we organised a hotline where everyone could ask for advice regarding acquisitions and disposals, free of charge and in a very accessible way.
Monard Law has a total of 120 lawyers and employees and operates from 4 offices in Hasselt, Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent.
