Pieter Bogaerts has over 20 years’ experience in banking & finance work, with a focus on corporate finance transactional work.
He is particularly well known in respect of PE-driven acquisition finance deals, acting for Belgian sponsors and borrowers in (syndicated) financing operations and their security scheme, but equally acts for Belgian and cross borders lenders. He assists lenders and borrowers in distressed finance situations and (in)solvent restructurings.
He also a broad expertise in asset-based lending structures, securitisations and complex corporate leasing structures.
He furthermore advises on a broad range of financial regulatory and prudential oversight matters for banks, investments firms and other financial intermediaries and funds.
