Monard Law acts for RSK Group in connection with its £33m Loan

Monard Law acted as Belgian counsel for RSK Group, in connection with a £33 million long-term investment loan that RSK has secured from private equity firm Permira. RSK Group’s lead counsel was London based firm Memery Crystal; other law firms involved on behalf of RSK Group were Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner Rechtsanwälte (Germany), Van Iersel Luchtman Advocaten (the Netherlands) and Szecskay Attorneys-at-law (Hungary). Permira was assisted by Freshfields.
RSK is a privately owned British consultancy providing environmental health, safety and engineering services. RSK now has more than 1,000 employees with offices in over 20 countries, with turnover of almost £100 million. It plans to use the funding to repay existing debt and fund the next phase of the group’s international growth. Monard Law’s team included Corporate Partner Pieter Van den Broeck and Finance Partner Bram Delmotte. Pieter Van den Broeck has been advising RSK Group for many years.
