Johan specialises in M&A and corporate law.
He obtained a Master of Laws in 2011 (VUB – cum laude) after which he immediately started his internship at the Leuven Bar. After completing his internship, he started to deepen his knowledge of corporate law.
He has already assisted in various acquisitions and restructurings.
Over the years, Johan also gained a lot of litigation experience, including in complex and international cases.
In 2022, Johan graduated from the KU Leuven with an advanced master’s degree in corporate law (cum laude).
Johan joined the corporate law department at Monard Law in September 2022. He assists both national and international clients/companies in the context of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate negotiations and disputes and provides them with comprehensive advice.
Furthermore, Johan obtained the Certificate for Special Training in Cassation Proceedings in Criminal Matters in 2015 and the Supralat Certificate assistance during interrogation in 2019.
Johan speaks fluent French and English in addition to Dutch.
