Due to our growing activities in public international law, we are looking for a new colleague to join our team in Brussels.

“Really do what you truly love doing” is one of the slogans of our mission statement. Today, we are looking for a new colleague with an interest in public international law and a willingness to combine this with Belgian employment law.

You advise international organisations, embassies and other diplomatic missions, foreign governments or Belgian actors in a wide range of aspects of public international law, often including HR aspects. In addition, you have an interest in Belgian labour law and employment aspects within a national and international context.

This unique position requires no real prior knowledge, as you learn on-the-job. Both candidates with less and more experience can find a place in the team. For more experienced candidates, we also consider positions with a more pronounced specialisation and/or part-time positions, but the combination of public international law and Belgian employment law will always be present.

Profile

• You have a Master’s degree in Law from a Belgian university, possibly complemented by additional training;
• A first relevant work experience (labour law or public international law) is a plus; candidates without this experience are doubly interested in retraining and reading up on this unique subject matter;
• An international working environment appeals to you;
• You are fluent in Dutch with a very good knowledge of French and English;
• You enjoy working in a team and have a helpful attitude.
• Sense of humour and a healthy dose of putting things into perspective!
